2012

Now that Spring has sprung we are feverishly working away at our projects in
the village. We have also been busy over the winter months with our
St Peters Church Wildlife Project. We have secured another £3500
Sustainability Grant for the project, which means we will be holding several
events such as  Bat and Moth evening, Children's craft day with bird and bug
box making as well as several other crafts to participate in and a Wildlife
Walk taken by Stephen Falk a veritable fountain of knowledge on Warwickshire's Wildlife.

The Wildlife Walk will take place on Saturday the
16th June 2pm - 4pm from St Peters Church Centre.

The dates for the other
events will be announced
soon.

At Wellesbourne Primary School Annex we have been working with Ken and Dave
from the Allotment Society creating a "School Allotment" with teacher Claire
Wrights class. We were gifted some paving slabs from Building Plumbing
Supplies in Leamington, Stratford Garden Centre gave us a large amount of
Chicken Pellets, Michael Twite Landscapes have helped us with equipment as
well, Walton Barcelo Hotel have given leaf compost and we are working to get
some free word to edge the beds.
The children will be able to make full use of their poly tunnel which was donated
through Welllesbourne in Bloom.

Members of Wellesbourne in Bloom have been helping as volunteers at Chedhams
Yard getting the garden dug and planted for this years opening.

It is coming up to the hectic part of our year and if they is anyone who
would like to help with weeding, watering etc please give me a call as any
help would be much appreciated on 07515
